“Our pets are hosts of external parasites and the essential oils in this formula will protect them from invading their coat. It is essential to take care of your pet’s environment, whether inside your home for a cat or dog, or in adjacent buildings for large animals, such as stables and barns.”
Ingredients: Cedrus Atlantica, Cymbopogon nardus, Eucalyptus globulus, Mentha piperita, Pinus sylvestris, Rosmarinus officinalis, Salvia officinalis, Citrus sinensis, Melaleuca alternifolia 100% Natural Essential Oils.
Quantity:10 ml
Shelf life: must remain tightly closed and stored away from light and heat. Best if used within 1 year of opening.
Instructions:
Small animals: In a flea & tick shampoo: dilute 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of the Formula in one liter of natural shampoo.
Shake the bottle well to mix evenly.
After applying the shampoo, leave it on for 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing.
“Spot-on” method: between the animal’s shoulders, on its back, spreading into the hair, pour between 5 and 10 drops of undiluted formula directly onto the skin. Over time, the oils will spread as they mix with the oily film that protects your pet’s skin.
With a brush: in one or more times, put 5 to 10 drops of the formula on a brush and use it to brush the animal.
Make a flea collar: put a few drops of the undiluted formula on the inside of your pet’s collar before wearing it.
Spray: in a small spray bottle, 10 drops of the formula with 75 to 100 ml of warm, non-boiling water and spray the contents into your pet’s coat, shaking your spray bottle frequently to ensure good dispersion of the oils. Avoid eyes and mucous membranes.
Large animals: Most of the methods described for small animals also apply to large animals. However, it appears that direct and careful application of the undiluted formula with a brush is the preferred method.
In your animal’s environment:
This will require you to make a spray as follows: • 15 drops of the formula,
for dilution • 60 ml (4 tablespoons) of alcohol & • 4 liters of water. Follow the dilution steps well, ensuring good homogeneity of the final mixture.
Shake your spray can well before each use. Spray the places where your pets live.
Frequency of use: Usually, a careful application of the formula to the animal once every two weeks, and for a careful treatment of the environment once a month. However, depending on the season and the variable risks of exposure and also depending on the location these frequencies can be increased without risk.
Precautions: The formula is described here as an example of a natural method that can be used in pet care. This formula cannot be used to diagnose or treat disease in animals or even be used as an excuse to stop treatments prescribed by a veterinarian.
If you have any doubts about your pet’s health, ask your regular vet.
Concentrated product: do not swallow. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Keep away from children.
Spray tips: Sprays made with alcohol: the first step is to thoroughly dilute the formula in pure alcohol. The second step is to add this mixture to the water contained in your vaporizer. Shake well.
It can be stored, but you must remember to shake the bottle before each use. Do not use it directly on your pet.
Alcohol-free spray: for single use only, you can prepare a spray with warm water, not boiling, into which you pour your essential oils. It is very important to shake your container before and during use.
